ERP, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Management

The Federal Government takes the term "Big Data" to the next level. Our Federal clients deal in quantities of data that often dwarf the size of the largest commercial companies. At 4M, we assist our clients in defining strategies and solutions in using ERP applications to support Data Lifecycle Management and turning vast quantities of data into actionable information through Business Intelligence, reporting, and other mechanisms.

Program Support

Through many years of hands-on experience, our staff has developed efficient procedures that support many areas of acquisition and operational support as well as program planning and control. Our approach considers program risks, schedule, critical paths, work arounds, and detailed what-if analyses to support the customer with key milestone decisions. Included in our approach is cost performance and planning along with technical performance planning that is used to identify program and cost metrics used to assess management risks. Customers supported in this area include both DoD and NASA.

Fielding / Training

4M provides the customer with the most economical hardware solutions that are tailored to the different modules of ULLS-A(E). We focus on ensuring the maximum amount of utility is realized from software solutions while leveraging existing infrastructure. 4M provides full cradle to grave management of hardware as well as integration and management of 3rd party software. Resident Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are able to train all aspects of ULLS-A(E) on or off site, as well as FSRs at the system level

Enterprise Resource Planning and Supply Chain Management

The U.S. Army employs one of the most time-tested supply chains in history. 4M provides ERP services supporting the Army supply chain as well as the data components such as materiel that support it. We assist our clients in optimizing their supply chain leveraging the tools an integrated ERP provides.

Systems Engineering

4M personnel have supported multiple programs from concept development to fielding. Specific Systems Engineering support areas include: design trades, algorithm design and prototyping, software/hardware integration, hardware/software component testing, test planning, test execution, data analysis, and program documentation. Our staff has experience supporting air defense systems, Army aviation platforms, and NASA systems in one or more of these specific areas.

Systems Simulation and Modeling

4M has developed a modeling and simulation approach consistent with simulation based acquisition and simulation test and evaluation processes. Our approach ensures useful end item products that include: non real-time, real-time, and virtual representations of the systems being developed and evaluated. The 4M personnel have supported both the Government customer and prime contractor developers in this area.
